After buying an older home I was completely burned through a cycle of faulty or half way work being performed and/or companies that were pushing outrageous sales and upgrades for simple repairs needed. I was emotionally overwhelmed and one month, several thousand dollars, and 3 HVAC companies later still without a working AC.
